THE HEADLESS HORSEMAN

¹⁰¹The Headless Horseman was originally decapitated by Ichabod Crane in 1781, who also murdered Crane at the same time. It resurfaces in 2013. He wields a self-cauterizing axe so his victims barely bleed, which he uses to murder then-Sheriff August Corbin. Hand branded with a bow. It is later revealed that he is one of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse - Death.

He beheads a priest next, a powerful witch who had been holding his head hostage. It is later revealed by Katrina Crane that when they murdered each other, their bloodlines merged and she was able to cast a spell that when the Horseman was awakened again, Crane would be as well, which is why Crane resurfaces in 2013. The Horseman is in search of his head, and once he has it, the Apocalypse will begin. The Horseman does have one weakness, however - it cannot be seen in daylight.
